Slowing down a bit
Things have been slowing down a bit but we picked up a 2005 Saab 9-2x aero and am working on getting it into shape. It is the most expensive project car I have ever picked up so we will see how it goes. It needs a new front driver side fender, some body work on the rear drivers side quarter panel, new breaks, new tires, new power steering pump and that should get her respectable.

No Alibi 2011
This will be the third year Lenny and I have had the opportunity to run No Alibi and due to budget constraints it looks like TSDs will be all that we are able to make happen this year. We will be competing in the seat of the pants class and hope for a good showing, we will be without the back up brains in the back seat but are hoping our experience will pay off.

Update and Oregon Trail
This season is looking like it's going to be a lot of volunteering, a few TSD events and trying to get things lined for for racing a few years out. The civic got sold along with a lot of other down sizing and I am currently looking for shop space and a new build to start on but with current state of funding it is limiting most of our choices.
Olympus this year was a great event but we all miss Matt Markers and hope the best for his family in this time of loss.
I will be at the MTC Service in on Saturday and Sunday at this weekends Oregon Trail, and will be once again doing No Alibi in a few months.

Mt Hood run but DNF
Rain, voltage problems and a blown head gasket summed up the day. Things started out well with some last minute vinyl additions to the car making it look quite seasonal, thanks again to Proyecto. On the transit to the first stage we noticed an over voltage coming off the alternator that had some effects on how the car was running but things were going well. On the third stage we were pushing hard and ended up loosing the head gasket after a bit of an overheat. The signs were clear with the motor turning over too easy and compression coming back through the coolant system. It looks like the next event we will be doing will be Olympus next spring.
